In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

C- DETERMINING THE UNITY OF EXISTENCE THROUGH POSITIVE SCIENCE

Let us talk about briefly the findings of COSMOLOGY, ASTRONOMY AND ASTROLOGY as the branches of the positive science and based on INTELLECT and EXPERIENCE.

This topic was dealt with in required amounts in the previous sections called. THE ONENESS ATTRIBUTE OF THE HEART, THE BOOK OF UNIVERSE AND VIEWS OF THE POSITIVE SCIENCE, BIG BANG AND RELIGIOUS PROOFS.

A) ENERGY TURNING INTO THE MATTER, THE MATTER TURNING INTO ENERGY

The transformation energy to the matter is found in two different formations.

When the seeds of trees with different sizes are planted into the soil, they first turn into two leaf-like material structures.

As time passes, the seed is transformed to the tree which is composed of the root, the trunk, leaves and branches out of THE FOUR MAIN ELEMENTS – SOIL, WATER, AIR AND FIRE.

Tree, as FIREWOOD and WOODWORK, has a big weight and bulk.

The soil the tree is planted does not lose its material or bulk, on the contrary its volume expands. Through a chemical change, the energy of the sun is transformed to the matter as FIREWOOD and INDUSTRIAL WOOD and this fact has continued for billions of years.

Then the firewood part of the tree is burned and thus turned to energy. In the locomotives of trains water is transformed to steam which creates an ENERGY (POWER) to run the train and the examples of this kind of transformations are many.

The vegetal residues of the tree DECOMPOSE again through a chemical change and are transformed to petroleum after a long time, and the crude petroleum is refined in the refineries into PARAFFIN-OIL, DIESEL and GASOLINE. These three gives ENERGY with which cars, planes, ferries run. Out of other remnants of the petroleum, the indispensable products of our century are manufactured.

The scientific truths that we tried to express above in basic lines prove THE ONLY BEING IN THE UNIVERSE IS THE EXISTENCE OF ALLAH, in other words it proves THE UNITY OF EXISTENCE.

The Sun is a SINGLE ENTITY with its vast area and very condensed weight. From another aspect, the energy of the Sun constantly turns into the matter.

The matters that come out of the Sun give energy either by being burnt, or by being steam that makes locomotives run, or by transforming to petroleum as gasoline and diesel.

Therefore, THE SUN, A SINGLE ENTITY causes a lot of matters to come to existence that is MULTIPLICITY comes out of ONE. These many matters, in turn, turn into a single entity, energy (power) and cause the occurrence of the unity of existence.

Water turns into STEAM, FOG, CLOUD, RAIN, SNOW AND HAIL through various chemical changes. Water, a single entity, turns into multiplicity, since the shapes, taste and function of these substances are different. When they are affected by heat or cold, all of the cited matters revert to water. This example shows water, A SINGLE ENTITY, turning to a multiplicity of matters and when the multiplicity disappears its turning back into its original version, THE SINGLE BEING, i.e. water.

b) BIG BANG, THE EVENT OF BIG EXPLOSION

The theory of BIG BANG in current cosmology literature explains the first creation of the universe and its chemical and physical transformation to its current state.

This view resembles to the judgments of the Qur’an and the truths of the tasawwuf (Sufism) science that stems from the Qur’an. However, this resemblance is in terms of the formation of the material structures of humans and other things and objects. In other words, this expression is directed to explaining the REALM OF CREATION turning into existence.

BIG BANG is described as follows: The ball of matter and energy with infinite big density, but having an infinitely small bulk burst out the space fifteen billions years ago as it could not fit into its body and thus the dimensions of TIME and PLACE was created.

Co-existence of infinite greatness (of size) and infinite smallness is the most visible and impressive feature of the first version of the universe.

Before the BIG BANG there had been nothing. Place had not existed, either. It is very difficult for the mind of human to grasp this inexistence. The question of what happened before the BIG BANG is illogical, because time, too, was created with the BIG BANG.

In this situation of INEXISTENCE, TIMELESSNESS, INEXISTENCE OF PLACE AND SPACE, for some known reason A GREAT BIG BANG took place. AND OUT OF THE BURSTING MATTER THAT SPREAD OUT EVERYWHERE WITH A TREMENDOUS SPEED; STARS, SUNS AND WORLDS WERE CREATED. IT EXPANDED RAPIDLY BY FORMING THE NET OF TIME TO THE MATTER AND GOT BIGGER AND BIGGER BY BECOMING SWOLLEN VERY FAST. THEN IT COOLED DOWN AND TOOK ITS CURRENT STATE.

……….. COSMOLOGY IS THE SCIENCE OF UNIVERSE………………….

The idea of the universe commencing with BIG BANG, its having a certain age, its creation out of inexistence and getting a shape and structure and gaining an identity is written in all COSMOLOGY books and SCIENTIFIC JOURNALS.

D- THE EXPLANATIONS BASED ON THE VIEW OF SUFISM
We had mentioned the event of the Big Bang in the section of the expansion of the sky and the heart. Here we mention it in order to prove and to put forth evidence that THE UNIVERSE WAS CREATED OUT A SINGLE ENTITY, that is THE UNITY OF EXISTENCE.

A hadith of our invaluable prophet (peace be upon him) says:

In the age of happiness (the years in which The Prophet lived), a group that came from Yemen asked the following question:

Where had been Allah before the worlds were created? .The sheikh of the universe answered:

“There had been only Allah and nothing else except His hidden existence….”
BUKHARI. (Volume 4, chapter 22)

This expression is very clear. Even though Allah is hidden and covered, his existence is proved while the existence and appearance of the universe is negated, i.e. its structure and appearance in today are described as inexistent previously. The mentioned expression verifies the theory of BIG BANG, and this confirmation is made by the glorified Prophet. No one can show a more definite and convincing proof than this. Our prophet is the TRUE INFORMER and he gives the true information.

Another aspect of this noble hadith is that it sheds light on the way of those who learn and believe in the truthfulness of the theory of BIG BANG to be interested in Islam.

A noble verse is as follows:

“DO NOT THE UNBELIEVERS SEE THAT THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH WERE JOINED TOGETHER (AS ONE UNIT OF CREATION), BEFORE WE CLOVE THEM ASUNDER?” (SURAH AL- ANBIYA 21/30)

Another miracle of the glorified Qur’an happens with this verse. It was not possible to understand the meaning of this verse for the people with the cosmological knowledge of the time in which the Holy Qur’an was come down, except the Prophet of Allah and his companions who were granted inspiration.

It is known that our world had been a fire with the Sun, and then it got separated from the sun and settled in its orbit. Then it cooled down, shrunken, twisted, i.e. went through many transformations, then united with the layers of air and water and the environment that the living beings the world hosts can live on it in their own life conditions.

The age of the world and sun is estimated as 5-6 billion years. The age of the whole universe is estimated as fifteen billion years. The verse above does not say directly that the world came off from the sun, but says THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH WERE OF ONE PIECE, AND THEN WE HAVE SPLIT THEM. This points out the physical and chemical changes that took place until the time of zero second before the creation of five billion years-old Sun and Earth.

The Earth and stars had been an energy ball of 1032 ºC, which then turned to gas. The space started to expand, first subatomic particles and then atoms, molecules, elements and matter, objects, stars and galaxies were formed. The first visible point of the miracle of the Qur’an is here.

The first information about the thesis of BIG BANG started to appear after 1930’s in the West. Those who accept Islam as the eternal salvation way believe in it as the Qur’an says so, even though they may not have seen it through their eyes or they may not have had cosmological knowledge. Those, who do not have this belief, accepted it after the scholars of astronomy proved it, not by the Qur’anic information, though The Qur’an informed it about 1400 years ago and said it happened with the power and creation of Allah.

a) The Venerable Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) saying knowledge is a dot.

It was quoted that the hadrath Ali said ‘Knowledge is composed of a dot’. Here he meant the ONENESS of Allah Dhul Kamal, THE DEGREE OF SELF. This degree has many names such as WUJUD MAHZ, MERE WUJUD, THE MYSTIC SIDE OF THE ONENESS, LA TAAYYUN (NO MANIFESTATION) and the like. This expression is the sufistic view of the universe and the worlds in it are concealed and they are in a dot.

According to the expression of our Hajji Bekir Sıdkı Visali Sultan, all knowledge of the realms of HALQIYYAH and CREATION was given in the noble Qur’an. The whole of the Qur’an was brought together in the Surah al-Fatihah. The content of Surah Al-Fatihah was summarized in the invocation “basmalah”. The truths of basmalah were collected and rolled up in the dot below the ‘b’ letter of basmalah.

The Absolute God was hidden with all EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR realms in his unseen identity, all divine attributes and divine names demanded appearance from him. The Qur’an starts with the Arabic letter ‘Sin’ and ends with ‘Sin’. The first one is the ‘SIN’ letter of basmalah and the last one is the ‘SIN’ at the end of the verse MINAL CINNATI WAN-NAS. The firs SIN points to all nafs and amongst them the most eligible one with his past eternal abilities is the NAFS OF MUHAMMAD, and the letter ‘MIM’ after ‘SIN’ points to MUHAMMAD MUSTAPHA (peace be upon him). The word of MUSTAPHA means selected. The degree of the truth of Muhammad is the highest degree among all nafs which is expressed by the following qudsi hadith: O MY BELOVED MUHAMMAD, IF I HAD NOT EXISTED, YOU WOULD NOT HAVE EXISTED, AND IF YOU HAD NOT EXISTED, I WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN KNOWN.

After the letter ‘MIM’ the name of Allah comes. The ALIF of the Jalal (majestic) name points to the SELF of Allah, the letter LAM points to the attributes of Allah Taala and ‘LAM ALIF’ shows the existence of THE DIVINE DEEDS. The last letter of the majestic name (the Letter ‘H’) contains all creatures and their appearances.

The unseen identity of the absolute God exists in the basmalah as a dot, and from this degree which is called LA TAAYYUN (NO MANIFESTATION) was created THE TRUTH OF MUHAMMAD, which is also called THE FIRST TAAAYUN (The First MANIFESTATION) DEGREE. It is shown that from there deigning and manifestation took place to his SELF and ATTRIBUTE and from his ATTRIBUTE TO HIS ACTS.

Thus, the UNIVERSE included the existence of infinitely big universe while it was infinitely small. The esteemed Mr. Taşkın Tuna expresses this situation with a fairly appropriate description: INFINITELY SMALL BULK, AND INFINITELY HEAVY.

The infinite realms -with their current state- came to existence from the essence, substance, and inner side of the existence of Allah Taala, which can not be known by intellect. This is the truth of the DOT in the expression of KNOWLEDGE IS COMPOSED OF A DOT.

The Hadrath Ali has been honoured by the following hadith: “I AM THE CITY OF KNOWLEDGE AND ALI IS ITS DOOR.”

As per the explained dimensions of The MYSTIC MEANING OF BASMALAH AND THE TRUTHS THE DOT determines are parallel to the theory of BIG BANG.

b) Heavens Being in the Form of Gas

A principal rule of the theory of big bang is THE TRANSFORMATION OF THE ENERGY TO THE GAS. Out of this gas, subatomic particles, molecules, elements and matters, stars and worlds appeared. The following verse expresses the heavens tuning into smoke, namely GAS.

“THEN TURNED HE TO THE HEAVEN WHEN IT WAS SMOKE” (SURAH FUSSILAT, 41/11)

c) The Expansion of Space and Firmaments

Ahmet Avni Konuk (may Allah be pleased with him) says in the ‘Fusus Şerhi” that in the above verse ‘smoke’ means ‘gas’ (Fusus Şerhi, Vol.III, p.171).

The third main principle of the Big Bang is the expansion of the space constantly. Since the first creation the space has kept expanding and getting bigger and bigger. The related verse says:

“WE HAVE BUILT THE HEAVEN WITH MIGHT, AND WE IT IS WHO MAKE THE VAST EXTENT (THEREOF).” (Surah Adh-Dhariyat, 51/47).

d) It is quoted that Muhyiddin Ibn’ul Arabi (may Allah exalt his mystery) said the following:

“I, the Dervish Muhyiddin , SAW EIGHTEEN THOUSAND REALMS IN THE ATOM”.

Niyazi-i Mısri (may Allah exalt his mystery) said.

THE PURPOSE OF KNOWLEDGE AND WISDOM IS TO UNDERSTAND THE DOT
THE PURPOSE OF RELATION WITH A SPIRITUAL GUIDE IS ONLY TO KNOW ONESELF.
The real purpose desired to achieve in all sciences and knowledge is to understand the truth of the DOT. The truth of the dot is to know that the universe with its all greatness and width emanated from an infinitely small DOT and came to the known realm of existence. It is the key to know the own essence of humans. By means of this, human knows his own origin and his beginnings. What the venerable Mısri wants to tell is this.

e) What the noble Mawlid tells

The word of Mawlid (in Arabic) means birth and coming to this world. It is the name of a Eulogy, praising the prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) due to his birthday.

It was organized in complete compliance with the Sufism views and the liking and disposition of the Prophet. It contains the truths of the knowledge about the love of Allah, the love of the prophet of Allah and the life in the afterlife. It was written in Turkish language and each line of it expresses the meanings of the verses of the Qur’an, the qudsi hadiths and the hadiths of the Prophet.

With its mentioned properties, the noble Mawlid of the venerable Süleyman Çelebi has the authority of being a proof in explaining the sufistic truths and establishing them, because its source is the divine treasury and the degree of the Self. The divine thoughts that are revealed to the prophet (peace be upon him) come to the saints as inspiration. Their source is the same; however, their strength and the quality of having the authority of proof are different. The revelation is stronger and has to be obeyed by all accountable muslims.

Mawlid has the same position and degree with the eulogies of Yunus Emre, Niyazi-i Mısri, Seyyid Nizamoğlu, the Anthology of Visali. They have differences of goodness among themselves at the second and third degrees in terms of disposition and ebullience levels. Our words are of the same level, however, they are not hundred percent the same at all facets. Allah knows the truth better.

The fact that mawlid has been sung for over six hundred years can not be explained only by its music and harmony, its quality of EXPRESSING THE MYSTIC TRUTHS is far more influential (in its ongoing popularity). Our public had it sung and listen to due to its mentioned feature. The intellectuals of Islam are interested in Mawlid less than the public. Some oppose it, albeit few in number.

We give the six lines of the noble Mawlid below concerning the theory of the BIG BANG. (These lines are in the section that starts with “IN THE NAME OF ALLAH”).

1-THE WHOLE WORLD HAD NOT EXIST, BUT HE EXISTED
2-HE WAS AL-JABBAR (THE ALMIGHTY) AND AL-GHANIYY (THE ALL-SUFFICEINT) FROM THE CREATED ONES
3-HE HAD BEEN THERE WHEN HUMANS AND GENIES DID NOT EXIST
4- HE CREATED THE SKY AND THE EARTH, THE MOON AND THE SUN, AND NINE CELESTIAL SPHERES
5-HE MADE THEM EXIST WITH HIS ORDER OF ‘BE’
6-EVERYBODY ACKNOWLEDGED HIS ONENESS

Mawlid was written in 14th century and its expressions are so clear that there is no need to comment on them.

Allah existed; all other things did not exist, that is:

Humans……………Humans did not exist

Angel………………Angels did not exist

Arsh………………. The ceiling, roof and throne of the universe, the biggest maqams (posts) did not exist

Earth………………. The earth and the beings in it did not exist

Moon…………….. The moon did not exist, either.

The nine celestial spheres, too, did not exist.

At the time Süleyman Çelebi lived, the upper ceiling of the seven stars (MOON, MERCURY, VENUS, THE SUN, MARS, JUPITER, AND SATURN) that belong to the solar system was accepted as celestial spheres, namely SKY-FIRMAMENT, and the places that 12 constellations exist were added to the 8th heaven which was named the EIGHTH CELESTIAL SPHERE, and all of them was named as THE NINTH HEAVEN.

Here we try to express the reality that everything in the universe, all visible and invisible things and objects do not exist; only Allah has existed since the past eternal.

The noble Qur’an notifies the creation in the third verse of Al Mulk Surah that means HE WHO CREATED THE SEVEN HEAVENS (Surah Al Mulk, 67/3). The Qur’an is the principal. What it decrees is absolutely true. However, the places and genuine structures of the SEVEN HEAVENS have not been determined by the current level of astronomy knowledge. It has been preserved near Allah.

What is important here is that the astronomy of 14th century expresses the facts that while everything had been non-existent; Allah existed with the existence special to His Self.

Thus, it has been brought to the light that the view and reality of BIG BANG was known and told by Süleyman Çelebi.

f) Mathematics, number-oriented Designation

Mathematics a science that deals with numbers, determining what is few, what is a lot. There are infinite numbers on MINUS AND PLUS sides of ‘zero’. They start with one and ends with ONE. Starting with one (1) looks correct, while the END being ONE is difficult to grasp by mind and intellect.

Actually there is only ONE number. Other numbers do not have independent existence. They come to existence with proliferation of the DIGIT OF ONE. The root and origin of their existence is the truth and identity of ONE.

For instance two means two times ONE… The number of 100 means hundred times one. All numbers are calculated and evaluated like this.
The person, who has one billion Liras, first calculates the gold equivalent value of ONE LIRA and then determines the gold value of one billion pieces of one lira. As the value of the Lira decreases, the ratio of decrease is determined on negative side. THE NUMBERS OTHER THAN ONE HAVE NO INDEPENDENT EXISTENCE AND VALUE, SPECIAL TO THEMSELVES. CALCULATIONS AND FINANCIAL VALUE STEM FROM ONE AND CONTINUE WITH IT.

THERE IS NO GOD, BUT ALLAH; MUHAMMAD IS THE PROPHET OF ALLAH.

The above holy word notifies, in short, the numerical truths told above in the Sufism understanding and in a wider (macro) sense.

From one aspect, it is the key to, medicine and remedy for freeing from the biggest sin: ascribing partners to Allah. From another aspect, it describes the attributes of His deity and notifies that Allah EXISTS, he is WAJID (The Self-sufficient, the All-perceiving) and ONE (AL FARD)………………..
He is exempt from imperfections and perfect with every kind of wholeness.

The word that THERE IS NO (OTHER) GOD negates, removes the existence of everything other than THE EXISTENCE of ONE and UNIQUE Absolute God. It is the macro version of the mathematics-oriented expression that all numbers other than ONE have no independent existence, value and anything whatsoever.

The word of ‘BUT ALLLAH’ is the proof of the existence of the ABSOLUTE GOD; who is always WAHID AND FARD (One).

Fraction objects, worlds and all creatures were created from the existence of His Self. They turn into shadow beings, and then one day completes his lifetime and perishes, and returns to his special eternal existence. The proof of the mentioned reality is the case of water. Water turns into multiplicity (known with the names of steam, cloud, fog, rain, snow, hail) from being a single being and when it perishes it loses its multiple images and returns to its origin, i.e. water.

Regarding the numbers, even though each number looks like an independent being, it is understood that the truth of the reason for their appearance in multiplicity resembles the sufistic realities.

G) THE UNITY OF EXISTENCE IN OUTER WORLD AND INNER WORLD

Allah Taala decrees in the great Qur’an:

“WE SHALL SHOW THEM OUR SIGNS ON THE HORIZONS AND WITHIN THEMSELVES UNTIL IT WILL BE MANIFEST UNTO THEM THAT IT IS THE TRUTH. DOTH NOT THY LORD SUFFICE, SINCE HE IS WITNESS OVER ALL THINGS?” (SURAH FUSSILAT, 41/53)

This is one of the most comprehensive verses in the Qur’an that determines the existence and oneness of Allah at all facets. This is the most eloquent expression of the unity of existence.

The name AL-HAQQ (The Truth) is one of the beautiful names of Allah. It is the name of the degree of LA TAAYYUN that is known as THE ABSOLUTE HAQQ and it is also the origin of His deity. With this meaning, it determines that Allah Taala is the true God, and it collects the attributes of deity in it.

WE TALK ABOUT two realms:

1- Interior realm

This is the synthesis, composition of the bodily structure and unseen-spiritual structure of humans. The outer realm is all realms outside our inner structure that we can also call the universe. The world and the things in it, the moon, solar system, constellations, galactic systems, parallel universes… all form the outer realm.

Each one of the cited realms are similar in terms of their notifying the existence of Allah, their self, attributes, deeds, their unseen, witnessed and material structures.

In other words, the synthesis structure of human is the smallest model (miniature) of the outer realms in terms of his material appearance. Only from a spiritual viewpoint, the existence of nafs natiqah, and attributes of magnitude and greatness there is a difference and superiority.

For instance, the interior realm hosts nafs natiqah as it is the recipient of SELF MANIFESTATION of the Absolute God. It has also been honoured by the soul at the highest degree. From this dimension, the interior realm that represents the mature human is in the position of the soul of the outer realm and is superior to it. The outer realm becomes distinguished with its attributes of magnitude and greatness and is more immense.

The first formation of our body with material structure is the SPERM. It is the seed of humans. It unites with the ovum, the female reproductive cell, and becomes the SYNTHESIS CELL. So, proliferation starts. As per the time designated by the divine program, first appearing bone cells form the bones. As the walls of a building are built first, in the body, too, first the SKELETON (the composition of the bones) is created. Then the muscles, blood, veins, all other tissues and organs are put in their places in a measured and balanced way. It is now called FETUS, and after birth is called BABY. The baby has a structure and capacity to be able to adapt to the life in the world.

The baby is composed of trillions of LIVE CELLS. Cells make up of the organs and each organ does a different job. Their doing a different duty is due to their conception and action. If we look at it through THE GLASSES OF UNITY (tawheed), it is the stages of a single being. IT IS THE MASTERSHIP AND THE QUALITY OF TRAINING TO MAKE A SINGLE BEING COME TO EXISTENCE.

We finish the subject here in order not to explain the duties of each organ and hence we avoid unnecessary repetition, because we gave sufficient details in previous explanations.

We want to take your attention to one point: How do we call this human who started with a SINGLE-SYNTHESIS CELL and turned into MULTIPLICITY?

Let us say we will give him a name and call by his name.
The names will proliferate, too. His coming into existence happened through the power (Al Qudrah) attribute. Therefore one of his names should be THE POWERFUL, THE ABLE (AL QADIR).

As each organ is measured and balanced, from this aspect he is THE RECKONER (AL HASIB).

As everything is formed and function in accordance with the attribute of knowledge, it should be named Al ALIM (THE KNOWER).

It has the attribute of seeing, therefore his name is AL BASIR (the Seeing).

Due to the attribute of hearing, his name should be AS SAMI’ (The All-Hearing),
He can speak, hence his name should be AL MUTAKALLEM (The speaking).
He is a living being, thus gets the name of AL HAYY (The Living).

In short, humans have a share and a part from each attribute and are affected by these attributes, and they must be named as the possessor of that attribute. The number of names exceeds HUNDREDS and thousands. Our topic was to be able to CALL a person with HIS NAME. If we try to call with his all names, the balance of the speaking deteriorates. That is why humans have chosen to call with a SINGLE name and thus preserved the balance.

Administration of the country of body from a single centre:

Our bodily structure which occurs in the terminology of the Qur’an with the name of THE INTERIOR REALM is managed from a single centre called heart, though it is composed of MULTIPLICITY with its names and attributes, cells and organs and outer appearance: In the heart it is NAFS NATIQAH that carries out the function of administration.

The eyes can not do anything independently by themselves, it starts taking pictures after nafs orders them as ‘look at so and so’. It does not have the right of objection and it does not consider withstanding. The incoming photographs are evaluated by INTELLECT, another assistant of nafs, and they are turned to action through HANDS AND ARMS. Its CONTROL AND ADMINISTRATION on all other organs resemble to those of what is said for the eyes. In its managing, the MILITARY HIERARCHY AND DISCIPLINE dominates.

It likes the word of ‘I’ to make other humans and outer realms remember its existence. It says it is the doer of everything, it does not accept any faults, and does not determine any partners in the things it does. It says ‘I see’ for what the eyes see, and it says ‘I am looking at, I hear, I am doing, I am going, I am lying down etc. It claims with courage and certainty, by risking facing any kinds of dangers and without giving any concessions that it is the SOLE RULER of the bodily structure that consist of a multiplicity. If it wishes, kills itself and its organs, i.e. commits suicide.. It does many other things.. It eats or does not eat, it fasts or prefers hunger strike.. It does not accept any limitations and threats. It is contented only by saying ‘I’.

In his relations with other humans, they, too, accept him as A SINGLE BEING AND THE RULER. For instance, if he promised to work as a worker or a civil servant, the whole of his bodily structure will head to the work IN HARMONY.

His relations with the state that represent the community he lives in, is the same as expressed above. Societies have an order. The behaviours that violate this order are accepted as a crime and THE PERSON IS PUNISHED. It is the bodily structure that is accepted as a single entity that serves the sentence after the crimes such as rape, perpetrating state property, violate state order or rebellion. In the case of a rape, the real rapist is the male sexual organ, but the penalty is given to the whole body, not only to the mentioned organ. Heart, lung, feet, hands and others can not say they are innocent, they did not take part in the rape and they are being punished unjustly.

It was claiming it is THE SINGLE BEING by saying ‘I’. Other humans resembling to it, too, ACCEPTED it as a SINGLE BEING. It is now understood that the state, too, has the same thought system and gives the penalty to the whole structure of human.

2- Outer realms

Everything from galactic systems to micro creatures and atoms WITHIN THE UNIVERSE constitute the outer realms.

A verse is the name of shortest parts of the noble Qur’an that has a meaning. In the dictionary ayah (verse) means SIGN, EVIDENCE, PROOF and MARK. THE 6666 VERSES OF THE NOBLE QUR’AN are THE DEFINITE AND DOUBTLESS PROOFS OF THE EXISTENCE OF ALLAH, HIS BEING ONE.

The above verse comes to mean ‘I will show MY DEITY to them and the fact that I AM THE SINGLE ENTITY. It is possible to see and understand the attribute of WAHDANIYYAH (ONENESS) in this verse, if we think about its meaning carefully. We explained in the above section that these facts are valid in the interior realm, too.

As nafs natiqah is the absolute sovereign over the country of body, its dominion, words and orders are fully respected, Allah’s administration and control is the same in the outer realms, in the each atom of the universe.

As the anatomic structure of our body started from a small SPERM and then turned into the organs through ramification, the outer realms, too, ramified from AN INFINITELY SMALL COSMIC EGG and consequently today’s GREAT and marvelous realms come to existence. So, those two realms exhibit similarity in all aspects.

h) Qur’anic verses pointing to THE UNITY OF EXISTENCE

The systematic of the noble Qur’an is based on the idea of Allah being ONE and SINGLE ENTITY. For that reason, the biggest SIN is ASCRIBING PARTNERS TO HIM that removes THE ATTRIBUTE OF BEING ONE. The biggest worship is TAWHEED (oneness of God) that ACCEPTS and CONFIRMS THE DIVINE WAHDANIYYAH (oneness). This understanding dominates the meaning and expression of each verse. Allah Taala is very sensitive to this issue. He shows his WRATH to those who utter words or have behaviours that negate the tawheed creed (religious faith) and he likes those who accept tawheed creed and grants his bounties to them.

“THERE IS NO GOD BUT HE: THAT IS THE WITNESS OF ALLAH, HIS ANGELS, AND THOSE ENDUED WITH KNOWLEDGE, STANDING FIRM ON JUSTICE. THERE IS NO GOD BUT HE, THE EXALTED IN POWER, THE WISE.”
(SURAH AAL-I IMRAN, 3(18)

Witnessing of Allah to his being THE SINGLE BEING is enough, there is no need for other proofs. However, not because there is no need, but to explain to the public as two groups those who know it as Allah notifies.

“WHILST WE DO CELEBRATE THY PRAISES AND GLORIFY THY HOLY (NAME)?” (SURAH AL BAQARAH, 2/30)

The first group is angels, because they constantly PRAISE AND GLORIFY ALLAH.

“WHO ARE FIRMLY GROUNDED IN KNOWLEDGE” (SURAH AAL-I IMRAN, 3/7)

The second group, who witness, too, is that WHO ARE FIRMLY GROUNDED IN KNOWLEDGE, i.e. the saints who are near to Allah.

“BUT YOUR GOD IS ONE GOD” (AL-HAJJ, 22/34)

“HERE IS NO LIVING CREATURE BUT HE HOLDS IT BY ITS FORELOCK; SURELY MY LORD IS ON THE RIGHT PATH” (SURAH HUD, 11/56)

These verses definitely express that Allah is unconditionally sovereign over all creatures and manages and controls them.

The meanings of these verses should be reflected on together with what is written in this chapter.
