The Festival of Sacrifice

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim
(In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful)

The Festival of the Sacrifice is a beautiful celebration for our believer brothers and sisters, who try to follow the path of Allah and Rasulullah, when all the muslims come together and embrace each other, when all the love and endearment get abundant (SAV).

In this festival, sacrificing an animal is wajib (obligatory) or for some sects, it is sunnah. In whatever form it may be, it is a duty for all the muslims to join this celebration.

If we try to understand the sacrificing in spiritual terms, we can get a higher sense of pleasure from it and than living it.

In brief terms; sacrificing is a virtuous worship when the human being cuts away the links between the animal like ideas and life, when he wants to get himself to reach mutmaine and gain the characteristics of humanity and which our brothers and sisters who can afford it financially do it willingly. Their submission is rewarded by Allah.

The Festival of Sacrifice is celebrated on the first ten days of Dhu al-hijjah with the Hajj pilgrimage season. We are praying to Allahu Tealâ for our muslim brothers and sisters to go to Hajj and come back safely, especially the sacred Festival of the Sacrifice to be a means of bringing love and peace to the muslims.

I celebrate the Festival of the Sacrifice of all the muslim brothers and sisters in the world with my deepest feelings and respect, and I wish a sacred festival for everyone.
